I’m thrilled to share the success of our recent workshop, where we created over 100 handmade dolls and comfort heart-shaped pillows. These adorable items are more than just toys – they’re infused with love and care, from the stitching to the color fabric, and the hearts on the chest of the dolls.

We’re excited to deliver these special items to those in need. Half of the dolls and pillows will go to Sharp Memorial Hospital’s Cardiac Unit, where they’ll bring comfort and joy to adult patients. The rest will be delivered to a trauma unit and behavioral hospital for kids, providing a sense of security and reassurance to young patients during a challenging time.
Each workshop I host is carefully planned with a specific purpose in mind, focusing on creating items that will benefit a particular facility or hospital. The rewarding part is seeing the smiles on patients’ faces when they receive these handmade items, knowing that they’ve been made with love and care. We’re proud to be making a difference in our community, one stitch at a time.
