Spreading Love and Kindness at Rady’s Children’s Hospital
The Celebration of Champions event at Rady’s Children’s Hospital was a heartwarming experience, filled with joy, laughter, and compassion. Our organization was proud to be a part of this special day, where we had the opportunity to connect with children and families in need.
Comfort Hearts and Dolls: A Special Gift
At our booth, children had the chance to create their own comfort hearts – soft, cuddly heart-shaped pillows that they got to stuff themselves. We also gave away adorable hand toys to bring extra smiles to their faces. What makes our comfort hearts and dolls truly special is the story behind them. Each one is imbued with love and kindness, making them more than just a stuffed animal – they’re a symbol of hope and connection.
A Hub of Creativity and Joy
Our booth was a vibrant hub of creativity, featuring a cardboard house where kids could color and paint to their heart’s content. The presence of a dear friend who’s also a talented clown added an extra layer of joy and magic to the experience. The interaction at our booth was a huge hit, drawing in tons of kids and families who were eager to participate and connect.
Meeting Beautiful Families
As we met so many beautiful families, we were touched by their stories and experiences. Some were walking in the race with their children, while others were holding photos of their children who have passed away, clutching our comfort hearts. These moments reminded us of the importance of our mission and the impact we can have on people’s lives.
Sharing Our Story
What makes our project so special is the story behind it. By sharing our own experiences and the significance of our comfort hearts and dolls, we’re able to create a deeper connection with the families we meet. These aren’t just ordinary stuffed animals – they’re a reminder of the love and kindness that binds us all.
A Day of Love and Kindness
The Celebration of Champions event was a powerful reminder of the importance of spreading love and kindness wherever we go. We’re grateful for opportunities like these to make a difference in the lives of children and families. As we continue to share our story and our mission, we hope to inspire others to join us in spreading love, kindness, and compassion to those in need.

“Passing down values that make a difference. My son and granddaughter joined me at the Rady’s event, teaching the next generation the importance of giving back and making a difference together. Though the fun was cut short due to rain, the memories will last until next year, hopefully under sunnier skies 💖.”
