As the holiday season approaches, our Sisterhood organization, RRM Project Love, is gearing up again to spread joy and love to families in need in our community. We’re excited to invite local businesses to join hands with us in making a difference in the lives of these families through our “Adopt a Family” program.
Here’s how it works: businesses can choose to adopt a family and select from a list of items that we provide, including:
- Dinner-sized meals
- Clothing and shoes for each family member
- Toys and gifts for the children
- Household essentials
Businesses can then choose which items they’d like to donate, and we’ll take care of the rest. This way, everyone contributes in a way that works best for them.
We also have an option for businesses to set up a RRM “Project Love” box in their shop, where customers can donate toys and essentials for local families.
The items collected will be distributed to local hospitals, Ronald McDonald House, Child psychiatric units, Rady’s children hospital, other local children facilities, domestic violence havens, and family resource centers in Chula Vista and the surrounding San Diego area.
